Scope of Practice

April Peters is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of Tennessee and a Certified Thermographer (CT). Her role is limited to the technical capture of thermal images using infrared imaging equipment. She does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice of any kind, and no aspect of a thermography session should be understood as a clinical examination, diagnosis, or medical opinion from her personally. All thermal images captured are submitted to an independent, board-certified physician or clinical interpretation service for professional review. The resulting written report reflects the analysis and opinion of that independent medical professional, not of Body In Focus Thermography or April Peters. Body In Focus Thermography is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or conclusions of any third-party interpretation report.

Not a Substitute for Medical Care

Thermography is a screening tool intended to be used in addition to, not in place of, standard medical care.
