Hi, I'm April Peters, the Owner and Clinical Thermographer behind this clinic, with a background in massage therapy and 20 years of experience working hands-on with the human body. Through those years, I developed a deep understanding of how the body holds tension, imbalance, and inflammation; and now, with infrared imaging, I can actually see what I've been feeling all along.
I combine that experience with the time, care and attention every client deserves. When you come to me, you're not just getting a scan, you're getting thoughtful insight, professionalism, and a commitment to your well being. I deeply respect your privacy and always aim to make you feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout the entire session.
Over the years, I've seen the incredible effects when people take charge of their health, how real change brings real benefits to the body. It's truly inspiring, and it's why I'm passionate about helping you understand what your body may be telling you.
My goal is to support you with both knowledge and compassion on your path to better health.
My Training
My certification connects me to a respected lineage in medical thermography. I trained under Kristin Burton of Med-Hot Thermal Imaging, who brings over three decades of experience as a Certified Natural Health Professional and 15 years specializing in clinical thermography. Kristin herself trained under Dr. Carol Chandler, a Doctor of Oriental Medicine with over 20 years of practice and a respected name in the field. This lineage means my approach is grounded in an established, rigorously trained methodology — not a standalone certification, but part of a continuing tradition passed down through recognized practitioners.
My Equipment
I use a Med-Hot ultra-high resolution FLIR A-700 camera system paired with patented software, providing detailed thermal images that allow even subtle changes in heat patterns to be identified — giving you the most reliable and actionable results possible.
I'm a proud member of the Institute for the Advancement of Medical Thermography (IAMT), and I work with Physicians INSIGHT for clinical interpretation of my imaging results.
